答案 Personally speaking, I believe primary school students should be taught both. And I have the following reasons.
First, typing is a very important skill in today’s society, because many people now rely on laptops or cell phones to send emails, surf online for information, or even study on the Internet. However, none of them will be smoothly carried out without the ability to type. Students should learn this skill when they are young or else their work efficiency under digital related work experience will be affected. On the other hand, hand writing is also extremely important in the environment when the computers are unavailable or not commonly used. For example, many of my classmates like me had never had a laptop during college. We merely wrote down our notes in the classes. Plus, good hand writing means good spelling: primary students can learn spelling well without the helps of error correction when typing.
