A United Nations report to be officially released later today will condemn the Zimbabwe government’s mass demolition of shantytown homes as disastrous. The report was compiled by UN special envoy A. who spent two weeks in the country seeing the demolition first hand. Here is our UN correspondent S.P..
According to those who have seen it, the report says that more than two million people have been affected by the deliberate campaign of torching and bulldozing large areas of shantytowns.
