When you stop to think about it, criticism is a vital part of
working life. Without feedback, how would you ever discover what
you were doing was wrongly and so learn how to put it right? (1)______
Yet few managers know how to give criticism constructively and
few employers know how to take it. It’s only too easy to misinterpret (2)______
a critical comment about a piece of work for a personal attack. This (3)______
can make you defensive, angry and hurt. Even worse you may give the
