     Have you noticed what many people have between meats for the energy and nutrition they need every day? Cookies? Milk? Fruit? No, vitamin pills. Some women in big cities, called vitamin ladies by the newspaper report, even take these pills for breakfast and eat nothing else. Are these pills good for health? I think there are advantages and disadvantages.
     Taking vitamin pills is good for health many situations. When people are ill for lack of vitamins, they can take the pills according to the prescription of their doctor. Or, if some people cannot get sufficient nutrition with the normal dally meals, they can also take them as supplementation.  In addition, vitamin pills are also used to help cure certain diseases.
     However, people are putting their health by taking too many vitamins for too long. If they take more vitamins than needed, these vitamins will cause some kind of poisoning and damage their health. And there are specific groups of people who cannot take vitamins. For instance, pregnant women should avoid Vitamin A.
    From what is stated above I would say that we cannot replace any one of the meals with vitamin pills. Getting natural vitamins by eating regular meals fruit is the safest way to good health.
