答案                    STRIVING  FOR SOMETHING NEW AND SOMETHING DIFFERENT
     Our striving for something new and something different constitutes the very force of the development of our society. When we want something new, it is natural we want it to be better than what we’ve already had. If our pristine ancestors were satisfied with what they already had, perhaps we are still dwelling in caves, wandering for food and fighting for survival with predators. That is the same case in our modern society. It is the insatiable desire of man for knowledge and thirst for the mysteries of the world that give rise to the development of science and technology. Thus our civilization leaps from one wonder to another.
     We also strive for something better in our spiritual world. Material success is not everything. Spiritual achievement is also an important guarantee for the healthy growth of a society. The humanism in Renaissance Period, the enlightenment movement in the seventeenth century, the resplendence of Darwinism and Marxism are indeed precious spiritual treasure. Challenging the then so-called orthodoxy, they lead man to explore the recesses of our mind and thus push our world forward.
    It is dear that our desire for something better pushes us to make further efforts and thus change for the better ourselves. To catch up with the rapid development of our time, we must adjust ourselves and be always eager to pursue new and different things. The sense of happiness and satisfaction comes from a willing mind to explore all the mysteries spiritually and materially.
