The President of Cuba Fidel Castro has attended a service of the Catholic Cathedral in Havana to mourn the death of Pope John Paul. A church official says it’s the first time the Communist leader has entered the building since 1959. It’s not until 1992 that Cuba officially did not believe in the existence of God. President Castro said the Pope was always a good friend of Cuba.
