      Nowadays television has been an essential part of our lives. I can safely assert that in modern society, people can hardly go without television because it really benefits us a lot. of course, watching TV too frequently also has its disadvantages.
      First, it is through television that we are well informed of the happenings at home and abroad. It is important for us to keep up with the tendency of international affairs. Besides local news and international news, other TV programs and even advertisements are also informative.  Second, television provides various kinds of entertainment besides being informative. Watching TV is a way of enriching our lives. In some way, it broadens our mind. It makes it possible for us to see different people in the world, and learn different things like different cultures and traditions. However, we have to restrain ourselves from watching TV indulgently, which will inevitably occupy too much of our time and if we watch TV too indulgently, it and harm our health too.
     In a word, it is advisable to watch TV properly and not to be a TV addict. And choose what to watch and decide what to be abandoned. Follow the advice, and we will surely benefit ourselves from watching TV.
