     My university life began in September 2003. Two years have passed since then but I can still remember some of the things on the first day of my university life.
     At 8 o’clock in the morning, I came to the campus together with my parents. To our surprise, we found the campus was already full of people. All seemed very happy. Father first noticed the flag of my department -- English School. We went up there, and with the help of the teachers, we quickly completed all the necessary formalities. Then we came to my dormitory. Mother was busy with my luggage, getting everything to their proper place, which allowed me the chance to chat with my roommates. Soon we became good friends. After lunch, we had a walk around the campus. It was very beautiful! My parents were greatly delighted and exhorted me again and again to work hard and make great achievement. Finally it was time for them to leave. Suddenly I felt extremely lonely and could not help sobbing. But I knew I had to adapt myself to the new condition, and the sooner, the better. So I turned to my new roommates who were as sorry as me. We talked until very late, and fell asleep with a lot of hopes for tomorrow.
     That was my first day of my university life. It seemed that nothing significant had happened. But in my memory, it would occupy a special place forever.
