    Surfing on the Internet has become a buzzword, especially among young people who are always ready to embrace new technology and ideas but also who are vulnerable to resist temptations. There is no denying that the Internet, like many things has two sides—the negative being a channel to spread unwanted information and an occupying hobby for students.
    I believe the above-mentioned accusation is not the fault of the Internet; rather it is the fault of the users. The advantages of the Internet are distinct. The Internet, one of the most influential inventions in the 20th century changed our life in a fundamental way. First of all, the information on the Internet and its searching function offers us the best ever opportunity to learn from the past and explore into the unknown world. Second, the world becomes much "smaller" with the possibility of instant communication with whoever you want.
    In a word, the most prominent advantage of the Internet is that it opens up indefinite possibilities for users and it shortens the distance between people and gap between countries. However, it is worth pointing out that conscientious and cautious efforts should be made for the application of the new technology and for its service for people.
