     To study abroad has become the final aim of many Chinese student. However, some people think that attending a college or university in a foreign country has many advantages; others believe that the disadvantages outweigh the advantages. I personally hold the former viewpoint.
     With the development of our reform, the opportunities to go abroad are increasing and whether to attend a foreign college or university becomes a hot issue. Studying in a foreign country, you can enlarge your field of vision by looking at your own country from outside. This would be like stepping out of your room to see the world instead of looking at it through a window. In this way you have a lot of interesting experiences. When you study there and do your lab experiments with the help of some advanced equipment and instruments, you can also make a tour around to visit some famous science institutes and shrines to understand their tradition and enjoy pictures surrounding. Moreover, you can improve your second language with ease. How wonderful! On the whole, attending a foreign college is charming and nice. However, you should also find, that there are a lot of barriers lying ahead. Different habits and cultural traditions often make you lose your head and balance. Of course, most of these problems are due to lack of experience. You can gradually become accustomed to them.
     In general, I should say if you have the chance, why not go abroad? The universe is boundless, and the world is colorful. Attending a college or university abroad will certainly do good to you.
