But you have to put it off to next week because you’re preparing for an important job interview. Write a note to apologize and explain why you are not able to tutor his son this Saturday.
    Marks will be awarded for content, organization, language and appropriateness.

Dear Paul,
    I’m afraid I can’t tutor your son on Saturday and have to put it off to next week. I’m really sorry for that. Just after we made the appointment, I was informed that my interview with IBM was scheduled on Saturday. You know it’s not easy to get a job due to the economic recession and it’s really a hard-won opportunity which I can’t afford to miss. I’d just like to apologize again for not being able to go.
