答案     Nowadays, there has been a growing concern among the public over the issue of intellectual dishonesty. Honest is always considered as one of the good virtues and serves as a necessary factor in the process of one’s getting success. But now the problem of dishonesty has become so popular that even some professors copy others’ works instead of writing their own research papers.
    There are some reasons explaining the issue. On the one hand, in order to get some fame in their research fields easily and quickly, some professors resort to copying others’ works. On the other hand, some people plagiarize because they will be promoted to a higher position so as to get more money when they have papers published.
    Intellectual dishonesty has produced bad effects on our society and human civilization. If the professors and scientists are dishonest, who can we believe? So efforts should be taken to build up the honesty-oriented society. For one thing, it is imperative for the government to make law to severely punish those who copy or plagiarize others’ works. For another thing, we should spare no effort to teach people the value of honesty.
    I believe only by undergoing these measures, can the situation be improved.
