W: Where do you work?
M: I work in the Quality Assurance Department at Sonic Laboratories. I don’t know if you know the company. We produce very specialist equipment for hospitals. That might sound a bit dull to a non-engineer, but actually I find the job fulfilling. It’s good to know that you’ re helping people to overcome difficulties.
W: Yes, I can imagine that must be very satisfying. So what are you working on at the moment?
M: A big project in Malaysia. We’ re opening a new factory there and I’ m responsible for setting up quality procedures.
W: That sounds very interesting.
M: It is, and challenging too. It’s rather busy at the moment and I’ m doing a lot of traveling and that’s a bit hard on my family, but otherwise I really enjoy the work.
