It is said that as Chinese people’s living standards improve, public holidays are no longer enough to fulfill people’s needs. There’ve been renewed appeals for a third public holiday, in May, to be lengthened. And a commentary by Xinhua News Agency went further, calling for a proper system of paid leave.
Write an article in about 160 words in an appropriate style on the answer sheet, giving reasons for your answer and including relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

答案     In China, the two big annual public holidays National Day and New Year are usually the occasions when a great number of people choose to go out traveling and also the time unprecedented traffic jams happen. When the tourists sights are crowded with a mass of tourists and people get held up in the congestion, traveling is no longer such an appealing thing to do.
    Consequently, some people has appealed for the public holiday in May to be lengthened so as to spread the strain. Furthermore, a commentary by Xinhua News Agency even calls for the establishment of a proper paid leave system. I am with the commentary here, for as far as I know many people have saved their traveling for the big annual public holidays due to lack of proper enforcement of regulations about vacation system. What is meant here is that even the public holiday in May is lengthened, it is of not much help in changing the situation when many people go out traveling at the same time. Therefore proper paid leave system holds the key to the problem.
