    Currently, there are increasingly opinions that are negatively pointed to college students, accusing of their truancy, failing in examinations, spending money extravagantly and so on.
    Among the various factors which influence people’s opinions on college students, there are three conspicuous aspects as follows. Firstly, most college students care little about the pursuit of knowledge and self-cultivation, and ignore the basic etiquette when communicating with people. Secondly, most students don’t take advantage of their spare time, but just surf the net, go shopping or make friends to idle away the precious time. Thirdly, people always have higher expectations for college students while most of them can’t live up to what they are expected to be. As a result, people feel disappointed about them.
    As far as I am concerned, as a college student, we should make good use of the precious college life to enhance our cultural and moral quality, behave ourselves, and establish a positive impression. Only in this way can we clarify the negative evaluation and be accepted by the society.
