    It is impossible for one not to note the prevailing phenomenon of various match-making activities around us. An investigation shows that an increasing number of spectators are fascinated by those TV programs which help young people find their future mates. Some local clubs in cities also hold similar campaigns to provide an opportunity for people to get to know each other, which is highly welcomed.
    Numerous factors may account for the craze of matchmaking campaigns. In the first place, there are increasing numbers of leftover men and women for the fact that they have little spare time to meet with members of the opposite sex. Moreover, the fixed life circle hinders them from making new acquaintances in their daily life, while attending the match-making activities offers them a chance to meet new people with different personalities or backgrounds.
    Concerning this phenomenon, my point of view is that it is worth trying, especially because it is becoming increasingly difficult for young people to find their spouses in their surroundings. When they have known the basic information of the other candidates, it is possible for them to find someone sharing the same belief both in value and wealth.
