The Good University Guide’s John O’Leary explains that getting into university is going to be【C1】______this year.     What we do know,【C16】______, is that more applicants will be chasing fewer places on current plans. There was an existing【C17】______to some extra places in the first year of degree courses, but even that will leave a【C18】______of some 6, 000 places in the summer. If Universities UK is right, there would then be 1. 5 applicants【C19】______every place, compared with 1. 3 last year.
