    Several possible reasons could account for Microblog’s thriving popularity. To begin with, its unique feature, the 140-word-limitation, is in line with modern people’s pursuit for simplicity. Next, as Microblog is a platform for individuals to share their own mood, thoughts, photos and so on, it is much more interesting and appealing compared with other dull and official-looking network platforms. Besides, it’s a good channel for ordinary people to get closer to their idols ranging from popular stars to business leaders. Finally, people can offer or ask for help, advocate new conceptions, or even advertise something by interacting flexibly and freely with their Microblog friends.
    As far as I am concerned, the prevailing Microblog will, on the one hand, enhance the interaction among individuals, narrowing the gap between people. On the other hand, it may also function as a rumor-deliverer, misleading the masses. Therefore, we should be cautious when we are using Microblog.
