    In the picture above, a woman is standing at the fork in the road, choosing between a high-calorie hamburger and fresh vegetable salads. The cartoon is directed at the dilemma people face today, namely our eating habits.
    It is said that we are what we eat. However, choosing what to eat is no longer as easy as it once was. Our eating habits have changed substantially, as have our lifestyles. Unfortunately, many people today have developed unhealthy eating habits. There are several reasons behind this phenomenon. First, to keep up with the high pace of urban life, people find it arduous and time-consuming to cook so that take-away and fast food become their easy choices. In addition, people often skip their meals due to heavy workload and such irregularity often leads to eating disorders. Last, unhealthy diet may derive from mood swings, such as depression, anger, etc.
    As far I am concerned, people with poor eating habits need to pay more attention to what they eat. They ought to learn more about their bodies and thus supply the fuel needed to keep fit. Only in that way will we be ready for the challenges and opportunities in life.
