    University ranking is considered as a very important factor by most of students when they choose universities, since some useful rankings can help them choose a better university. What’ s more, colleges’ reputation and rankings are important for recruiters because employers will associate graduates’ work ability with their schools. While others hold the opposite view on this issue. From their perspective, graduates’ individual successes come from the traits and knowledge they acquired after they entered the college, instead of the fame of their college. Another complaint comes from some students. They think university ranking is changing constantly, however, the change may rely on some false data and information rather than universities’ actual strength.
    In my opinion, we should be sure that university rankings provide a guide to us, while we shouldn’ t regard rankings as the sole criterion for choosing universities. In addition, I believe that peoples’ s persistent efforts are the key point to success whether they study in a common college or a famous university in the future.
