    This practice is beneficial in two aspects. Above all, college volunteers may broaden the horizons of students in underdeveloped western regions by imparting new knowledge and thoughts to them. Besides, college students themselves can gain unforgettable and valuable life experience by adapting to the harsh living conditions. They also learn how to overcome unexpected difficulties and challenges.
    As for me, every Chinese citizen is responsible for the development of education in China. And we college students should take the lead in response to the appeal for providing aid for children in the western poor areas.
