    E-education is becoming increasingly popular today. With Internet technology, people can get an education on private computers. Just by clicking the mouse, using the right course-ware, people can even take examinations online. Because of its fast speed, convenience, interactive capabilities and availability, e-education has become an important means of gaining a higher education both at home and abroad. E-education is especially convenient for college students. First, with internet access, students can overcome barriers of space and time. For example, they can study at their computer terminals any time they like, and at their own pace. Second, they can search for the information they need for their studies easily on the Internet because it provides quick access to a wide variety of information. What’s more, they can take advantage of the educational resources of other universities home and abroad.
    However, e-education is still subject to some limitations in China now. Many students cannot get access to the Internet as much as they need due to insufficient network resources at their university. But things are changing for the better now. And I am sure that with further development of China’s economy, e-education will surely become a very popular means of education in China.
