答案                     The Influence of Internet On Teenagers
    This chart shows that during the last eight years, hours that teenagers spend on the internet have increased dramatically. In 1996, the average number of hours spent by them on the Net was just below two hours per week. In 2000, it increased rapidly to about four hours. When it conies to 2004, the number soared to more than eighteen hours every week.
    In my opinion，two major reasons contribute to this dramatic change．Firstly the rapid spread of computers all over the country makes surfing on the Net convenient; PC is even available in many families as well as dormitories. Secondly, with all kinds of information in it, the internet is very useful for us to study, work and entertain ourselves.
    But at the same time many problems have arisen. Some students, too much indulged in playing computer games and chatting with others on the Net，neglect their studies to such an extent that they have to drop out of school in the end. Owing to too much sitting and excessive long hours of concentration, some break down and say goodbye to this colorful world. Even some others, so deeply involved in an imaginary world like those in many games that they don’t know how to solve problems when in difficulty of conflict，commit suicide or kill others.
    Therefore, it is high time that we did something for it. Not only the government but everyone in the society should work together to provide teenagers with a healthy environment to make the most of computers．
