    I’m Li Ming, a freshman in our university. I write to you, hoping to apply for the Government Student Loan to pay for my tuition fee and cost of living.. I’m from a needy family in a poverty-stricken area. My father is a peasant, and my mother has fallen seriously ill. Besides, I’ve one brother and one sister who are still at school. As a result, it’s very difficult for my parents to support me and the expenses of my higher education are a heavy burden for my family. Therefore, I apply for a loan of 10,000 yuan to finance me through the higher education. If my application is granted, all the money will go to my tuition fees.
