答案
Should People Keep Bizarre Pets?
Bizarre trends tend to surface here and there when you least expect them. Who would have thought that people would start a new bizarre trend of keeping unsightly and dangerous animals such as lizards, spiders and snakes as their pets? Well, that’s the newest craze now in China.
People have different opinions about this trend. Some think that it is natural — everyone likes a pet, whether it is the "normal" kind, such as a dog, cat and rabbit or the strange, bizarre type. Others, however, oppose keeping bizarre pets. They are afraid that some pets such as snakes and crocodiles can be dangerous and put the owner or neighbors at risk.
In my opinion, generally people do have the right to choose and own pets that touch their hearts. However, there are still animals that are illegal to be kept as private pets, especially those dangerous and endangered species that belong in the wild. So, before attempting to keep these animals, people should check with the local officials.
