Ladies and Gentlemen,
    First, as a Chairperson of the Students’ Union, I would like to give you a warm welcome to our university. I’d like to take this opportunity to briefly introduce the university, so that you might make a full use of its facilities in the future. There is a brand new library just behind this building. You will spend a lot of your time there, I think. The canteen is to the right of this building. There are plenty of different kinds of food for you to choose from. If you are interested in sports, I can recommend the multifunction gym. There, you will find a standard-sized swimming pool, all kinds of ball sports, and even climbing facilities. Student life is not easy for everybody. If you have any difficulties, please just pop into the Students’ Union Office where there are various support facilities, for those with financial, study, or emotional problems. We will try our best to give you some advice, which will hopefully help you to solve the problems. That’s all from me. I hope you enjoy your campus life.
