    The cartoon shows a father who is waiting for his children before a bridge, disappointed and sad. The bridge is the symbol of the law on the protection of the senior’s rights and interests. The purpose of the law is to encourage us to care about our lonely parents disregarding all kinds of excuses.
    Ignoring parents is unforgivable in many ways. Firstly, parents devote their most valuable life to bring us up, which in return deserves our concern for them. Secondly, it’s out of doubt that young people are buried with their own business and daily chores, however, these can never be the reasons why they cannot visit their parents. Finally, we are responsible for the inheritance of traditional virtue to care for parents.
    With the rapid pace of economic development, our old parents feel more and more lonely and unhappy. However busy we may be, we should spend more time talking with them and accompanying them, because it is our legal obligation to take care of them physically and mentally.
