    Why are spam messages so popular nowadays? This phenomenon, for my part, can be attributed to three reasons. Firstly, the Short Message Service department has obtained great benefits from the senders of spam messages. Secondly, compared with radio, television or e-mail, the cellphone sends advertising information more quickly, conveniently and economically. Thirdly, regulatory authorities fail to bring spam messages under control. However, spam messages have great harm, because they not only affect people’s life, but also disturb the normal social order and corrupt social morality.
    Based on the above discussions, we have enough reasons to call for a stop of spam messages.
    Besides, workers of telecommunications companies should be more vigilant about suspicious mass messages sent by one person, and regulatory authorities should tighten their supervision.
