答案    Nowadays, a growing number of women, either young or old, are eager to lose weight. They try very hard to be on a diet and do excessive exercise to quicken weight loss.
   Is it necessary to try every effort to pursue a slim figure? It is a controversial question. Almost the entire society is in favor of losing weight, and it seems to be a common belief that thinness is equal to beauty, for most popular actresses are slim. However, there are still quite a few people who consider losing weight a waste of money and energy and may cause health problems.
   In my view, we should not follow the trend of losing weight blindly. It is advisable to lose weight only if it affects your normal life and health. Otherwise, just love your imperfect figure and live happily without being annoyed by others’ standard.
