答案     Hope for the Best, but Prepare for the Worst
When you are under pressure to solve complex problems, it is always necessary to keep a good state of mind. To a certain extent, an appropriate attitude may determine whether or not you can make a difference in this world. In my opinion, the key to success is to hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.
For one thing, only by hoping for the best can we remain optimistic. It is true that an optimist sees an opportunity in every calamity, while a pessimist sees a calamity in every opportunity. For instance, Bill Gates would have stayed in Harvard if he hadn’t firmly believed in the prosperity of internet industry. For another, like anything else in life, too much optimism is as bad as too little. Blind optimism may lead to failures and that is why we should prepare for the worst. If rosy prospect turns to a sugarcoated bullet, it will become a weapon of mass destruction.
In short, strategically we despise all the enemies, but tactically we should take them very seriously.
