   China has witnessed dramatic changes in the way of transportation in the recent decades, which range from the constantly increasing number of private cars to the rapidly growing convenience of public transportation. And these changes have definitely had a great impact on our life.
   Apparently, the advance of transportation "shortens" the distance, improves our efficiency and leads to great convenience in our life. For example, a wide range of means of public transportation, such as the rail and airplane, make it possible for us to take a trip wherever and whenever we like. A private car can save us much time and trouble in waiting for crowded buses, especially when we are in a hurry. However, what impresses me most in all developments is the wide popularity of shared bicycles, which are not only environment-friendly and convenient in a short distance, but also provide chances for modern people to take some exercise in their fast-paced life.
   In a nutshell, we are enjoying the convenience brought by changes in the way of transportation. Meanwhile, we need to show our gratitude to the new technologies and to those who propel them to make our life more beautiful.
