As you think about writing a research paper, you may wonder how this job differs from other papers you have written. The basic difference is that most of the ideas that go into the research paper come from materials found in a library. The paper does not grow out of your personal experience and opinions as some other compositions do.
Sometimes almost all of the information and ideas that appear in a research paper will come from books, magazine articles, etc. It is your job to find the information and present it in a coherent (连贯的) essay. At other times, you may be required to add your own judgements to the ideas you have collected from different materials. Both may be referred to as a "term paper" or a "research paper", and you should know how to do research as well as how to put together a good paper.
Although writing a research paper is more difficult than writing an essay, the rewards (收益) of this work are great. As you increase your knowledge about a topic and begin making judgments, you will rapidly become an expert (专家) on your topic. [br] What idea does the writer try to get across?
选项

B、The more essays you write, the more likely you become an expert.
C、The more judgements you make, the more likely you will be rewarded.
