Our special guest this evening is the philosopher and author of several novels, Nathan Boyce.(83)Nathan, or, I should say, Doctor Boyce—he has a Ph. D. in history from one of Ireland’s most respected universities—is not going to talk you about philosophy tonight. He will talk to you about the subject of his latest historical novel,(84)which is set in Ireland in 1916. As you all know, that was a time of dramatic historical events. Dr. Boyce has just returned from a lengthy research trip to Ireland and Europe.
