W: Could you look at the bathroom faucet for me? It’s leaking. I tried to tighten the handle, but that doesn’t help. It won’t turn off.
M: Hmm. I’ll take a look at it after I get home from work. Until then, I’m going to turn off the water to the sink so we don’t waste it.
W: Good idea. Do you think it’ll be difficult to fix?
M: No, I probably just need to replace some valves or gaskets. I get off early today because I have a meeting, so I should be able to make it to the home supply store before it closes.
