M: Wendy, I’m really sorry I’m late to work this morning. I got stuck in heavy detour traffic because Highway 23 was shut down in both directions. My cell phone is still at the repair shop, so I couldn’t call in.
W: That’s OK, Hank. I heard on the radio that wind from last night’s rainstorm caused a tree to fall onto the highway. But I’m surprised you didn’t take an alternate route like King Drive.
M: Oh, I’ve never used that route. Once it crosses Railroad Avenue, it goes through parts of the city I’m not familiar with. So I was worried I’d lose my way.
W: I see. Well, I use this great Web site that creates maps with suggested driving routes for any destination. I’ll give you a print out of the map for your commute, and from that information you can choose the route that you’re most comfortable using.
