    In 1999, the customer base was mainly retired people and families, numbers being 100, 000 and 90,000 customers respectively. Single people made up 85, 000 of the total customer base.
    In 2001, single people and families remained at 1999 levels, at 85,000 and 90,000 respectively. However, the retired people customers dropped by 15, 000 to 95, 000. 2003 again saw no change in the number of single people, at 85,000. The retired people base dropped by 5,000 to 90,000, but the families group rose by 5,000 to 95,000.
    The changes between 1999 and 2003 meant that the combined customer base declined by 5,000 customers.
