Thirteen
Man: There’ll be five of us and we’d like to leave around seven tomorrow evening. We’ll be returning the following day at about the same time. The accommodation has already been taken care of. We’re all non-smokers and I’d like a window seat, please.

Fourteen
Woman: I’ll be there on Thursday, the second of July, arriving at 6:30. I am bringing the car this time, not the van But if I could be as near to the main entrance as possible, that would be great. I’ve got a lot of computers to carry.
[pause ]
Fifteen
Man: Hello, I’d like a ticket for this evening, please. I hope you haven’t sold out. I’d like to sit fairly near the front, not actually on the front row, though, about four or five rows back, and somewhere in the middle so that I can get a good view.
[pause ]
Sixteen
Woman: There’ll be quite a few of us so we’ll need a large table, let’s say about 30, though I’ll phone near the time to confirm that. Could we have the usual refreshments on the table-bottled water, fruit juice, etc. ? A tea served mid-morning, please. And we’ll be breaking for lunch at one.

Seventeen
Man- There’ll just be the two of us for a couple of weeks somewhere quiet. All that we really want to do is to have a bit of rest, some nice food and do a bit of walking. Perhaps somewhere where we can play a bit of sports, tennis or something like that.
