Woman: Hello, John! It’s Mary here. I’ve just seen a job advertisement with P&G in the newspaper and I think it will be perfect for you.
Man: Oh, what’s the job?
Woman: They want a Sales Manager. I know you are looking for that kind of job.
Man: You are so kind. Does it say what the job involves?
Woman: It is said in the job description that the manager will be in charge of sales in East Asia. That’s a wonderful place, isn’t it?
Man: Yes, I think so. I’m interested in working there. What sort of qualifications is required?
Woman: They are looking for someone who has a bachelor’s degree in business, 2-3 years’ relevant working experience, good communication skills and is able to travel extensively. Well, that’s OK for you, because you are so dynamic.
Man: Thank you. When do the applications have to be submitted?
Woman: The February 23rd is the closing date. Do you have today’s newspaper so that you can see it yourself?
Man: No, I don’t have. Can you fax it to me?
Woman: Of course.
Man: Great! Thanks a lot.
Woman: That’s OK. I’ll do it now.[pause]
