   In this part of the test the examiner reads out a scenario and gives you some prompt material in the form of pictures or words. You have 30 seconds to look at the prompt card, an example of which is below, and then about 2 minutes to discuss the scenario with your partner. After that the examiner will ask you more questions related to the topic.

   A company is planning to introduce a general training programme for new employees. Talk together about the topics the company could include in the programme and decide which 3 you think are most important.

A company is planning to introduce a general training program for new employees. Talk together about the topics the company could include in the. program and decide which 3 you think are most important. Now talk together. Please speak so that we can hear you.

A: You know, our company is going to have a general training program for new employees. The boss wants us to decide which 3 are the most important.
B: Well, in my view, There are many aspects to be considered if we want a successful general training program for new employees. Such as, computer skills, company rules, customer ser vice, product training, etc.
A: Quite right. We have choose 3 of them. What’s your opinion?
B: Er, an employee requires computer skills for daily work. So I think we can provide our employees with sufficiant computer skills.
A: Yes. What about product training? I think it is al so vital.
B: Sure. New green hands can not get down to work without proper product training.
A: You’re right. In addition, our company usually have business with foreign countries, so I think we should give new employees some foreign lanaguage training to help them better.
