A study presented last week at the American Heart Association meeting suggests that mental relaxation produced by meditation may have physiological benefits, at least in the case of people with established coronary artery disease.
Researchers followed about 200 high-risk patients for an average of five years. Among the 100 who meditated, there were 20 heart attacks, strokes and deaths’! in the comparison group, there were 32. (57)
The meditators tended to remain disease-free longer and also reduced their blood pressure.
"We found reduced blood pressure that was significant—that was probably one important mediator," said Dr. Robert Schneider, director of the Institute for Natural Medicine and Prevention in Fairfield, Iowa, who presented the findings. The study was conducted at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, in collaboration with the institute. Dr. Schneider suggested that (58)
the stress reduction produced by the meditation could cause changes in the brain that cut stress hormones and decelerate the processes associated with atherosclerosis (动脉硬化).

答案
A study submitted last week at the American Heart Association meeting shows that those who can calm their mind to think over something can have mental recreation, which may be beneficial to your physiology;at least it is no doubt to those who have established coronary artery disease.
解析
画线部分句子意思是:上周,美国心脏协会会议的一项研究显示:静思产生的精神放松,可以给人带来生理上的益处,至少对那些已经确诊为冠状动脉的病人有效。suggest:暗示,用show来替换;relaxation:放松,用recreation来替换;benefit:有益于,用be beneficial to来替换;at least in the case of people with established coronary artery disease意思是“至少对冠状动脉心脏病人确实有用”,所以使用it is no doubt….这个结构来取代原句。
