    Interview is frequently used by employers as a means to recruit prospective employees. As a result, there have been many arguments for or against the interview as a selection procedure. What is your opinion? Write an essay to state your view.

答案                         My View on Interview
    Interview has become a common practice and an integral step for employers to receive their new members. Even though for some companies and some vacancies, the job interview is not necessarily essential, I do believe that interview is very important for most recruiting activities.
    Firstly, interview can allow the employers to witness the personal appearance of the job seekers, since for many companies the personal appearance is very important and helpful for the smooth execution of business, such as public relation related ones. Secondly, during the job interview, applicants can freely and fully display their individual capability and unique style. This point is critical, because only the applicants’ working capability and their personal style fitting into the vacancy can they have the chance to join in the new working team. Finally, interview can allow the two sides learn about each other, and help both make final decision of whether to sign the labor agreement or not.
    So I firmly uphold the viewpoint that interview is beneficial for both parties of recruitment involved.
