    I received my secondary education at a little-known college. At first, I felt despair. Fortunately, I had a responsible tutor who cared for me. I devoted all my spare time to my study for no other purposes than to go on to graduate school. My painstaking efforts began to pay off.
    I still remember the day I received my notice of admission to Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. When my mother received my call at work, she was ecstatic. She gave me a hug upon entering my room. I could see tears in her eyes. She said that this was a destiny-changing episode in my life. That evening, she was so generous as to prepare a large table of delicacies to treat some of my close relatives who came to congratulate me.
    Whenever these memories flash back to my mind, I can still feel excitement and happiness. I wish I could have more cherished memories during my study as a graduate student.
