In history, intellectuals were the most respected people in the country. However, businessmen had always been the less respected in history. But now, things have changed. I’d like to say that intellectuals are still the most respected in the country. But the respect is more nominal, because they aren’t well paid today. In contrast, people nowadays are showing increasing interest and respect for business tycoons. I’m not saying that businessmen don’t deserve people’s respect. I want to call people’s attention to the decreasing respect for intellectuals today.
