Student A  Don’t you think our campus life has changed a lot? We can keep up with the development of new technology instead of isolating from the outside world.
Student B  Yeah, but I think students should live a simple life, thus they can concentrate on their studies. High-tech products sometimes influence our normal college life.
Student A  Why do you think so?
Student B  Although the Internet can make communication more convenient and efficient, most of us students cannot control our online activities. Some of the students indulge in online games and chatting. They even spend a whole night sitting in front of a computer! The next day, they doze off in class.
Student A  But the computer and the Internet are necessary in our daily life. They can help us with our studies and make our college life more colorful than before.
Student B  Yes, they can. But young people are easily lured to keep up with the trend. The computer and other high-tech products are also a burden to students, especially to those who are not well-off.
Student A  Then in your opinion, how do you balance our campus life with the development of technology?
Student B  It depends on our own economic conditions and our ability to control ourselves. At least, it should not be a heavy burden. And although not all high-tech products are necessary to be introduced onto campuses, we can still be informed and learn about them. After all, we are still consumers.
