When we were together, we talked on one big topic, namely, the power and prosperity of Chinese nation in the 21st century. The youth in mainland China and Taiwan, in spite of their differences in social environment and experiences in life,’ were deeply branded with the unique Chinese cultural tradition, and shared the common aspiration to vitalize Chinese nation. The precious opportunities and the big challenges at the turn of the century were both pushing the young people to the front stage of history.
