   A pet animal is kept us feel happy. Besides providing companionship, pets invite us to love and be loved.
   Often a cat or dog can comfort us at time when human words don’t help. Pets also keep us in touch with the more natural animal world. Pet do not betray people and they express their feelings naturally, without any delay or disguise just like what often happens in the human world. This is the very reason why seniors like to find accompany with pets rather than to live with their children. And not only seniors but also adults and children need to find an outlet of their certain emotions and find a listen or a comforter who will always accompany them.
   Learning to care for a pet helps a child to grow up into a loving adult who feels responsible towards those dependent on him. A pet dog brings its master a sense of confidence for he can see in the dog that faithfulness does exist. In fact, we keep pets for emotional rather than economic reasons. Though they do not speak and tell us what they feel or how much they love us, we still obtain the sense of accomplishment as we providing love to those in need and receive the reward in an undisguised way. This is the key of keeping pets and this rewarding love teaches our human beings a lot in the contemporary cold and lonely world.
   But in keeping pets, human being should also pay attention to the love itself. Our animals gift us with absolute loyalty and trust. When we bring them home as babies we are committed to caring for them for as long as God allows them to be with us. It is not acceptable to simply abandon them at a shelter at the age of one, five or ten and yes, people do leave their old, trusting pets at pounds and humane societies all over the country, all the time! These animals know only that they were thrown away and they no longer have the home or people they loved.
   In my opinion, it is not wise nor possible to forbid keeping pets since it is a human need, rules should be made to avoid its drawbacks.
