   A tiger hunted high and low for weaker animals to eat and he happened to catch a fox. The fox said, "You can’t be so bold as to eat me, for I am king of all beasts appointed by God. If you eat me you are against God’s command. If you don’t believe me, please follow me, to see whether the other beasts will run away or not." The tiger nodded assent and followed the fox. Wherever they went, all the other beasts ran for their lives.
   Seeing this, the tiger thought the beasts feared the fox, and did not know it was he himself that struck fear into their hearts.
