问题     Many people like to buy books and keep them in their house. However, people do not do tiffs for the same or single reason. Write an essay on the topic "Why People Save Books?"
   Requirement:
   Your writing should have a good beginning paragraph, which brings out the questions.  And the middle part should be devoted to answering the question, preferably by classification.  Then the essay should come to a natural conclusion or summary. Marks will be awarded for content, organization, grammar and appropriateness. Failure to follow the above instructions may result in a loss of marks.
   Length: Approximately 400 words.

   Many people like to keep and save books. If you walk into some homes you are likely to see anywhere from a single bookshelf to a whole library full of all kinds of books. Why do people save their books? There may be several reasons, but three stand out.
   One reason people save their books is to use them as reference materials. People whose job training included studying a lot of textbook material may save some of those books for future reference. A doctor, for instance, may keep his Gray’s Anatomy and his pharmacology books; an English teacher will hold on to the Norton Anthology of British Literature and other anthologies for reference, and so on. Having your own reference books available is so much more convenient than running to the library every time you want to check some facts.
   Another reason is to make a good impression. Some think that having many books will make them look well read and therefore sophisticated. Some people like to reveal to visitors their wide range of tastes and interests. Of course impressions may be inaccurate, for some may have never bothered to read the majority of those books at all.
   While some people may keep books for practical reference and for conveying an impression, I suspect there is a deeper reason. People who enjoy reading have discovered the magic of books. Each book has transported the reader to another place. Books have become part of their life. In short, saving books makes them feel secure as they hold on to what books have given them.
   In fact, security is at the bottom of all these reasons. It’s a secure feeling to know you have information at hand when you need it. There is a kind of security in knowing you have made a good impression. Finally, books that you’ve read and kept envelop you with a warm and cozy cloak of your life.
