(6)A powerful explosion at a petrol station in the center of the Turkish eapital Ankara has injured more than a hundred people. Witnesses say the explosions happened as a tanker was discharging liquefied petroleum gas. As a series of explosions then hit the station, a vast fireball rose into the night sky. The station is situated in a residential part of the city, but the proximity of a wedding hall, apparently filled with celebrating guests, seems to be the reason that there have been so many injuries. The Turkish Health Minister went to the petrol station and told reporters there that over a hundred people had been injured, but that so far, had been no fatalities.
