答案                          Advantages of China’s Entry into the WTO

     After a dozen years’ bid for the WTO membership, China has finally fulfilled its dream. This event, in my eyes, marked an end to the time of economic isolation and promised the beginning of a new era of prosperity.
     The entry into the WTO offered a lot of opportunities to China’s economy and the Chinese people. In the first place, with the introduction of advanced technology and management skills, domestic companies will be come more and more competitive, which will stimulate an increase in demand as well as in supply, and consequently boost our economy. In the second place, so far as the Chinese people are concerned, the entry into the WTO is a big cake for everyone. With the reductions of tariffs, we can buy everything, ranging from daily necessities to cars, which are of lower price but higher quality. In a word, China’s entry into the WTO will bring a lot of benefits both to the country and its people.
     Of course, its entry into the WTO also has disadvantages. However, if we take everything into consideration, we will all see it is advantageous for China to enter the WTO.
